DIL educates and empowers underprivileged students, especially girls, by operating student-centered model schools in remote areas of Pakistan. DILs holistic program includes curriculum enhancement initiatives, computer labs, libraries, reading programs and extracurricular activities which enrich the students school experience. Together with the opportunities made available through technology, vocational training and scholarships, our students are on a path to life-long learning and nurturing their dreams. The agency strengthens the system by providing professional development and support services to teachers and principals. Our school management teams are continually assessing and striving to raise performance standards. The DIL School works as a center for community engagement and families over time take ownership over education and show demonstrable increases in adult literacy and socio-economic empowerment.
