Rawalpindi , Pakistan Mobilink (Pakistan Mobile Communication Limited PMCL) is owned by Orascom Group. It started operations in Pakistan In 1994 as the first GSM Mobile service provider. It was founded by Motorola Inc. and then sold to Orascom Group. Its headquarters is in the capital city Islamabad, 1-A Kohistan Road, F-8 Markaz. Its Prepaid version is named as Jazz and Postpaid version is called Indigo. Mobilink’s total number of subscribers in Pakistan are about 30.75 million, that’s why it’s the largest network in Pakistan. It works with the Network Technology of GSM 900/1800 and has planned from UMT 3G/HSPA 3.5 G technologies in the future.
